This is a lovely park with plenty of sun and shade. The pond is a wonderful centerpiece to sit and watch the water foul and relax. The park is home to one of Grand Rapids three city pools. The pool building is unique and a small piece of city history. Admission costs $10.00 for adults but it buys you a pass for the season. There are some trails to walk and picnic areas to enjoy and public restrooms. Richmond Park is a great place to spend a little time.

Always fresh, clean air to find in the city. Kids love the playgrounds and pool. I love swinging in the breeze and picnics with my family. They need to do something with the pool. Fresh paint to cover the rust would help, but pool has lots of needs besides paint. My grandkids already decided not to go there this year, between being run down and constant closing due to defication. Yeah needs some curb appeal. Free lakes here we come.

I really enjoyed watching the ducks swimming in the pond. There in an observation deck, that spans out into the lake edge, that was well maintained with sturdy railings that felt safe and secure to lean on. Plenty of trash cans were around made it easy to dispose of trash.

Richmond Park pool is a ton of fun in the summer. Excellent water slide. Kids shallower pool side that is clearly marked out. And a deeper pool with diving boards. They staff it very well with multiple lifeguards. Only a few dollars for entrance. There is a concession stand available with some basic things like drinks and chips. Bathrooms aren't the greatest, definitely could use some updating. But all in all it's a great place to spend some time in the summer.

Beautiful park with well kept grounds. Friendly staff who were busy making improvements and upkeep. Gorgeous pond with fishing available, and an observation deck. Multiple Playgrounds and a pool with affordable rates. Awesome neighborhood gem.
